We also like to see a store that is devoted to clothing for the larger woman, that has plus size clothes and just plus size clothes. A store where the plus size range is not just an addon to their other ranges of clothes for thin women. We think that a store which focusses only on plus size clothes will make a much better effort to provide great quality clothing at a good price, because if they don't they go out of business. They survive on their plus size sales, not on everything else.

A store where a woman can shop for everything in one place. Want a plus size evening dress, or maybe a plus size cocktail dress or formal dress? You can browse the whole lot on one place.

There's more. We like to see a store that shows you their clothing modelled by plus size models. We get tired of stores which advertise plus size clothes, and then when you look at them they're all modelled by half starved girls. If we're buying a plus size formal dress we want to see what it looks like on a model like us, larger. Now that's not to say that any store with thin models can't have great plus size dresses, just that we want to see a store that shows us exactly what we're looking for, a dress for the larger woman like us modelled by a larger woman, like us.

We also like to see a store with a profile in the plus size industry in general, not just online. That is talked about in fashion magazines, newspapers and other womens magazines. That is well known for it's contributions to the plus size fashion industry. That has a reputation to protect.
